Addressing Misconceptions in a Flipped Classroom

Video lessons empower students and educators to pre-teach or circle back on topics in all learning environments.

Instead of leaving students with misconceptions and confusion, empower them with video lessons! Embed check-for-understanding formative assessment into your video to boost engagement and comprehension. These videos are perfect for homework in a flipped or hybrid classroom as well as part of a station rotation in a UDL classroom.

In science, my students learned about how an eye functions through our Mystery Science investigation. They did not understand that the light traveling into their eyes carried visual information to help them see. The Edpuzzle lesson I created below is great solution to iterate learning asynchronously in order to drive further discussion and investigation during class.
